Our programme
An Italian Vespers
Italy in the XVII Century
This program is centered around Italian church music from the first half of the XVII century. While composers like Monteverdi, Gabrieli or Grandi were renowned for their works and music expertise, contemporary female composers like Cozzolani, Aleotti o Cesis never acquired the same reputation.
So our first programm will involve both sides of the Italian scene and to have them side by side.
Meet our conductor
Ramon Marquès

Born in Barcelona in 2001, he began his musical studies at the age of 7 at IEA Oriol Martorell, where he also began his career with the trombone, and where he completed both the elementary and professional degrees with professor Jordi Gómez Ramírez.
While finishing his professional degree, he decided to enter the world of early music and sackbut, and began to take private lessons with Jordi Giménez Puig.
In 2019 he entered the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) to pursue his bachelor studies of sackbut with Simeón Galduf Correa, Jordi Giménez Puig and Wim Becu as his teachers. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sackbut at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Wim Becu.
As a sackbut player, he has performed with groups such as Contratemps, the Chapel of Santa Maria del Pi, La Caravaggia, Dichos Diabolos, Tubos y Panderos, Coral Cámara de Navarra, Orquestra Barroca Catalana, among others. He has participated in festivals such as Tiana Antica, Musica Antica, Espurnes Barroques and Musikfest Bremen.
In 2024 he created Deliciæ Ensemble, with the aim of being able to make his own projects come true.
